What's the motivation behind EveryGoodPath.net?

For years, we've benefitted from online resources, discussions, blogs, articles on various topics of Christian discipleship, education, church, family, and so forth. We've "googled" extensively and read widely, looking in on the lives of like-minded folks nationwide, even worldwide, and learned much that we would not have had access to in our local community of friends and acquaintances.

Our family has also attended various homeschool conferences, family camps, and church conferences. These are a great place to spend time with other families who are working toward biblical goals in their marriages, jobs, and children. We've enjoyed many wonderful speakers and been greatly encouraged. These conferences are wonderful places to hear new ideas, share, and meet new friends. Nothing can replace personal friendships, true community, and lively conversation, but it's hoped that some of the information, fellowship, and encouragement we've found at these events can be captured in this site.

We are always learning, always being transformed into the image of Christ and we will never have all the answers. We'll post what's been helpful to us and we welcome old and new friends to sign up and comment on the site, send us thoughts and articles we can post, ask questions, and so on.

Finally, learning internet technology may foster web-based business ideas our family can pursue. The EveryGoodPath site is not a business, but what we learn in producing this site might lead to ideas we can deploy on other sites.
