Family Devotion – Worry and Anxiety

It seems there’s always something to worry about. Overcoming worry and paralyzing fear is a struggle for most people – very few seem truly carefree and optimistic about the future. Yet Christians have a most secure future so should be the happiest people on earth. How can we live this life of “Blessed Assurance” that Christ has won for us? Not by focusing on our selves or our world, but by being transformed and renewed to think biblically about life.

Here are passages to read and discuss in your family devotionals, as you work together to trust God more and worry less. It’s important for young children to grow up trusting God and not letting fear and worry have a great influence on their attitudes.
