As the site matures, posts will be added to reflect my interest in the Lord's direction to His Church. To start, here's a list of books I found helpful as I began a more serious study of this topic about 3 years ago. Other than scripture itself, none of these are perfect and I would not agree with every tenet mentioned, but they are sound resources and I recommend them. These are imperfect books and my understanding of scripture is certainly imperfect and limited, but we press on to increase our understanding and faithfulness to our Lord's directions and desires.
The Bible - start here, of course, focusing on Acts, 1 Corinthians, 1 & 2 Timothy, and Titus. Any ideas found in other books which are not compatible with the Biblical teaching are to be discarded. There is no other way to arrive at an understanding of the "biblical church".
